Michelle is excellent! We took our baby to her studio for newborn pictures and were beyond happy with the whole process and how our photos turned out. Not only was she kind, patient, gentle and skilled with holding and positioning our newborn, but she went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, safe and comfortable. She had a heated room, sound machines, vibrations, aromatherapy, and soothed him until he fell asleep to get the sweet little poses we desired. LOTS of options for swaddles, props, clothes, etc..she had variations of every color and so many cute options, it was difficult to choose! Her patience and kindness is beyond, it takes a very special loving person to work with newborns and Michelle is it! Her turnaround time for the photos was quick and quality was excellent. If you’re looking for newborn photos, she is HIGHLY recommended! Thank you Michelle!

here's what it's like to work with us.
Booking Your Session
After your contract is signed and retainer is paid, your due date is added to our calendar. Once the baby arrives, we’ll schedule your session within the first two weeks of birth. You’ll receive our Session Questionnaire, where I learn about your session preferences and colors, and your Session Prep Guide to help you prepare for our time together.
Day of Session
All you bring is baby! You can expect your session to be relaxed, stress-free, and super fun! Once you arrive, you’ll preview the curated sets and props based on the preferences from your Session Questionnaire. You can expect to be in-studio for approximately two hours. While I work, relax (or nap!) on our comfy couch or hit up our complimentary coffee bar and enjoy our assortment of coffees, teas, sparkling water, or snacks.
Image Delivery
You’ll receive a link to your proofing gallery within 3 - 4 days after your session. After you’ve selected your favorite images, we’ll get started on perfecting and editing your images. Your high resolution photos will be ready for download two weeks after image selection!
Frequently Asked Questions
The sooner the better! Newborn sessions usually take place within two weeks after baby is born. After the two-week mark, babies begin to move and stretch more, making the poses and images more challenging to achieve. But don’t worry, it is still possible to do a session after two weeks, we can work around what your baby is comfortable with!
In order to guarantee a date in my calendar, it is suggested that sessions are booked 6 to 8-weeks in advance of your baby's arrival. Outside of the booking window or baby already here? No worries! I'll do my best to accommodate and capture your forever photos!
The studio is fully stocked with a ton of fabric backdrop options and props such as buckets, baskets, beds, and baby accessories, like headbands, outfits, wraps, bonnets and hats. Each and every item in the studio has been carefully selected to match my style and aesthetic that you’ve hired me to create for you. All you need to bring is a baby!
As long as baby is happy and sleeping, I’m able to finish almost all my sessions in approximately two hours. But we know that baby is boss, so your session may run longer to make sure I'm able to capture all of the images I know you're after!
Keep it simple! For Mom, a plain, ironed shirt or dress in a neutral color. For Dad a solid color dress shirt or polo shirt in the same neutral tone as Mom. Avoid shirts with words, graphics or bright neon colors. Same goes for siblings!
